I believe I originally built this around 2010-11, and it’s been performing well ever since.
Has anyone else been working with older setups?
The Pentium 4 from 2003, a gutter from the Toaster from 2005, and the oldest device I currently use are my main rig from 2015.
Many of the 80386 units are no longer working because I overlooked taking out the Battery on those boards. And batteries do what they're not meant to do: leak. Yeah.... So they're sadly dead... But I still have a running 486 VLB board. The thing I use most often is a Dell Vostro with a Core 2 Duo T9300, which was fortunately in my old Dell XPS M1530 running Windows 10 (and at most 4GiB of memory).
