I play a small amount of Fortnite on my laptop, though it’s not as much as my main desktop. A 512MB reduction in VRAM could noticeably impact performance.

That would likely fail, you'll need a minimum of 1GB. It's disappointing you only have 8GB total, especially since a 2GB version would be more suitable.

I have a PC equipped with an i5-12600K and a 6700 XT, along with 32GB of RAM. Mostly I use it for gaming. I’m considering maintaining the laptop’s VRAM at 1GB since it’s a solid machine, placing it between 512MB and 2GB.
