I came from Arma I really enjoy insurgency—it's a twist on CS but better. I don't play it often since few people know about it. If anyone wants to actually compete, I'm open to it.
Its my favorite fps and ive spent over 2000 hours playing shooters. I agree its not an easy game and you have to be tactical about it. There are a lot of simpler shooters out there and there is a market for sim shooters tho i would still argue this isnt one. Next time before you "review" a game make sure you have at least a basic understanding of it. There is in fact a silent walk (alt) and there are game modes that dont favor camping (ambush, infiltrate...). The gun mechanics are also some of my favorite. Theyre just realistic enough for my taste, well as realistic as source engine allows. Also i found the player community a lot better and more mature than most fps games. Though when the game is on sale theres always a wave of "allahu akbar" kids and those who complaib since they dont have attention span and control the game demands.
insurgency is great. its like CSGO mixed with arma 8 or 9 out of 10
I spend more time on Insurgency than on CS:GO. I really enjoy it.
