Before anything else, I recently dropped the computer a short distance while relocating it. The case showed minor scratches but no internal damage was visible. Cables remained secure, components stayed intact, and everything appears normal. I replaced the graphics cards and switched from HDMI to DisplayPort. On my ASUS Z390-E, the white VGA indicator lights up during gameplay. I observed this today and restarted the system multiple times. The light sometimes activates when the computer powers on, other times while running games. Overall, everything seems to function correctly and no other problems have arisen. I’m trying to figure out the possible cause. My monitor operates fine, the DP cable is connected to the GPU, and games are processed well. Search results suggest this issue might occur on some Z390-E models without a clear explanation. It could be related to the drop, new graphics card, cable connections, BIOS/firmware, drivers, or another factor. EDIT: Turning on the monitor first before launching the computer via DisplayPort seems to resolve the problem. It never happened with HDMI connections.
