White light stays on while the PC functions properly.
Hey everyone, I encountered an unusual issue with my new PC. Sometimes when I power it on, the buzzer makes one beep, then three more, and the motherboard stays lit up in a dramatic white light. Windows loads normally, and everything functions correctly—even games run fine. Restarting fixes the problem and turns off the light. I’m using XMP profile 1 and also have a second one. Should I switch to XMP profile 2? I tried updating the BIOS but it didn’t help. Could you please let me know my specs? Thanks!
Absolutely, you're on the right track. The beeping pattern often indicates a RAM issue—three short beeps usually mean a problem with the RAM slots. Checking your RAM and ensuring it's properly seated can resolve the issue. If that doesn't work, reinstalling the graphics card or consulting the manual for further steps might help.
It occurred once more now, and I'm responding with a white LED on my motherboard. The text above the LED reads "Dram LED." I also realized my mistake about the PC beeping. It sounds like it beeps once when powering on—then a long one followed by three short ones. I found out this issue stems from a failure above the 64 KB memory limit in the system. Also, I updated the BIOS three days ago.
