White light problems with the ASUS B550M-Plus (TUF Gaming Wifi II)
Hello, I’m experiencing a peculiar and bothersome problem with my B550M-PLUS TUF Gaming Wifi II. (I purchased it brand new three days ago). During startup, the motherboard emits one long beep followed by three short beeps, and the white LED stays illuminated after power-on. After some investigation online, I learned it’s likely a GPU-related issue. Although it boots normally without problems, the white LED indicator remains on throughout operation. I found that unplugging the HDMI cable and turning the PC on causes the LED to light up again along with the beep codes. When I reconnect the HDMI cable correctly, the issue persists occasionally. I’ve tried reseating the GPU, reinstalling drivers, reattaching the PCI-E cable, clearing CMOS, and updating the BIOS, but it still happens. Could this be a false alarm? Are there any BIOS settings I might be missing? Please note that the system functions properly, voltages and temperatures are within recommended ranges. My hardware specs include: Ryzen 5 5600X, MSI VENTUS 2X, RTX 3060, 12GB GDDR6, Gigabyte 256GB NVME SSD, Teamgroup 1TB SATA SSD, ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-PLUS, Seasonic Focus GX 650, stock AMD air cooler, Kingston Fury Beast 16GB, 3200mhz DDR4. Thank you in advance.
