It might be a VA panel issue. Sometimes it feels odd and takes a long time to boot up. If it uses an auto source, consider assigning it to a particular HDMI port. Also, try the first GPU port if you have multiple, preferably the one closest to the right side, especially if the card is mounted horizontally.

Today's activity seemed to stop completely, though I can still pick up sound. The audio remains, but I need to restart the device. I'm not sure what's causing this problem!

Power down the system. Disconnect the power supply unit. Disconnect the HDMI cable from the graphics card. Shut off the television without using the power supply. Restart the TV and choose a different input source. Connect the HDMI cable back to the GPU, power up the PSU, and finally turn on the computer.

I could try that again if it fails once more. Right now I've taken out three fans, and the temperatures look better and there hasn't been a shutdown yet.

I’ve experienced the same problem with a brand new pre-built MSI from Iron inside computers. The monitor just turned off and didn’t display the light beforehand.

Have you experimented with another cable for your monitor? I experienced similar issues with two distinct computers. One involved a faulty riser cable (appearing as if the GPU was connected directly to the motherboard) and another with a defective HDMI cable.
