Whine in coils causing stuttering issues!
Hi, here are the details you shared:
I own an i7 9700k with a 8x2 GB DDR4 RAM at 3000MHZ, Seasonic Focus 650W Gold.
I experience micro stutter when playing certain games like NFS Heat, BO4, and CoH2, while others such as Overwatch and the Division 2 run smoothly.
When stuttering occurs, the coil whine from my GPU disappears for a brief moment.
I've tried everything—checking DDU, using different cables, updating drivers, ensuring proper temperatures, and confirming PSU and NCP settings are correct.
Everything seems fine with the default BIOS and firmware.
You typically spot coil whine in GPUs during high-frame-rate 3D games, which often stops when the game runs smoothly. Are these titles installed on an SSD or traditional hard drive? Updating your motherboard's BIOS would be a good first step if that’s what you mean by default.
All titles are stored on an SSD, and the BIOS remains current.
Have you tried finding a resolution? I'm facing the same issue.
