Hello, it's been just a month since I purchased my computer. At first, I thought there might be a hardware issue, but now I have no other option but to ask for help. As shown in the video I shared, the computer is functioning normally—just accessing the browser without any problems. However, when I enter a page and the browser locks, it freezes until the session ends. This is unusual, and I'm not sure what to do.
I'm currently trying to format my system. My steps are: formatting → installing Windows updates → downloading Chrome (works in all browsers) → downloading b550f motherboard driver updates → installing the RX 6800 driver update. After that, Chrome crashes unexpectedly while working fine otherwise. Once I restart, it stops, but the issue recurs later.
Could you assist? I suspect a technical problem, but if you have any suggestions for software fixes, I'm open to trying them. Please note that as someone from Turkey, it's common for language barriers in videos.
Are you doing anything else? like playing games or anything? Does this only happen when opening the browser? Also the video is unavailable. This sounds like either a thermal crash or lack of power issue. So 1. You're cooler is not making good contact with the CPU or a lack luster thermal paste or not enough. or 2. You're drawing too much power or your PSU isn't connected to dirty power. Dirty power would most likely be the culprit here I think which basically means the grid you're on just isn't sufficient enough to handle quick power draw changes. The only solution to that would be to get a UPS.
