Hello everyone, after PIA was acquired I’m switching to a different VPN provider. Could you suggest one and explain why?
ProtonVPN offers excellent performance with both free and premium plans.
I rely on 1.1.1.1, sufficient to avoid government restrictions
I'm testing four VPN providers. My impressions are mixed. Kaspersky Secure Connection is reliable, fast, and easy to use—based on AnchorFree and Hotspot Shield. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for streaming Netflix content. NordVPN is free via a YouTube link; I tried it before committing. Connecting to servers is tricky, often taking multiple attempts and feeling slow. The app sometimes closes unexpectedly without reason, requiring re-login. I can stream Netflix in the US and UK, but not on Smart TVs. VPN Unlimited offers a lifetime plan for $15, which works for US access. TorGuard with Streaming bundle gives a 50% discount and seems effective. I appreciate having two streaming IPs, reducing the chance of being blocked. Support is excellent.
