You sign in or linking your Microsoft account doesn’t alter the requirement for taking ownership. It’s another setup, a new window with a distinct ID (the operating system itself).

By default, every Windows setup includes an administrator account. Although local admin roles vary between installations because of differences in the machine ID, the admin role remains consistent across systems.
