What makes you enthusiastic about playing games this year?
Essentially, my main interests currently revolve around *Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order* and *Doom Eternal*. I'm particularly enthusiastic about *Fallen Order*, as it’s a welcome return to a focused single-player campaign within the *Star Wars* universe, especially considering my fondness for titles like *Jedi Outcast* and *Jedi Academy*, which felt long overdue. Separately, I used to be a devoted follower of the *Ghost Recon* series and thoroughly enjoyed *Ghost Recon Wildlands*, which I consider to be the pinnacle of that franchise. However, Ubisoft’s recent decisions with *Breakpoint*, utilizing an online-only structure reminiscent of *The Division*, incorporating tiered loot systems, and adopting a fictional, science fiction narrative with branching dialogue options, have alienated me from the company entirely. Ubisoft has effectively lost my support.
I long for a fresh installment of System Shock. It’s utterly captivating.
