2x16 OCs are even better. However, both of those sets aren't particularly strong.

I concur, since the vintage Intel CPU likely can't leverage quad-channel technology.

Four sticks remain dual channel. Most modern consumer boards today support only dual channel. With four DIMM slots, you get just two slots per channel.

If the 16GB sticks are 1R, a 4x8 configuration will work better. The overclocking isn't assured—it could succeed or fail.

unless you need Kingston, just obtain these alternatives instead. I suggest the 2x16 model due to previous discussions—it’s more affordable, probably dual-ranked, and offers better performance.

It seems the only dual-ranked 16GB sticks remaining are B-Die, though I’m not sure. Many users have multiple packs.
