I switched to a 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX kit at 2993mhz Micron a while back, and now I mostly use it regularly. I’m thinking about moving to a 64GB Trident-Z from G.SKILL since I have a Ryzen 2600X and plan to upgrade to higher-end chips. I’m curious which option—two 32GB 2x8 3200Mhz CL kits or one 64GB 4x16 3600Mhz CL kit—would give better performance and optimization after overclocking.
Consider 3200mhz RAM with timing under CL14. Opt for the GSKIL Trident Z for better overclocking potential, though I'm unsure if micron B die chips can handle it well. Samsung's B die chips seem more likely to overclock.
