I’m focusing on games you truly enjoy, ones that are likely to impress you, and they require a solid GPU.
Right now I own a 2070-S, purchased for Control.
By the way, Control was a big deal at launch—it was quite dull! It served as a GPU benchmark, especially for RT, but the visuals were terrible. It felt like a low-budget indie title (like three stacked coffee cups on a table—shooting them makes them fly off, even if Duke Nukem 3D 1998 did better!)
On the other hand, Gear of War and all its versions are great! They’re optimized and run smoothly even on my mid-range machine.
Gears 5 and Hivebusters look impressive too—they handle high settings easily on budget hardware.
I’m aiming for the 5070-ti and need a GPU with NVidia, since I’m working on CUDA programming.
Thanks <3

The best price is 5070 ti, though 4k 5080 might suit you better

It depends on the specific games. If you enjoy Indiana Jones, an upgrade would be beneficial. For titles similar to silksong, no upgrade is necessary. You also can’t receive suggestions for games that aren’t available; otherwise, it might seem you need a 9060 XT, as it’s optimized for BL4, and a 5070Ti is required for a stable frame rate.
