Which temperature numbers are better on Speccy or AIDA64 Extreme?
My Ryzen 5 3600x is set to auto overclocking and has a Cooler Master hyper 212 cooler with an air intake right on top of it. I ran both programs at the same time while AIDA64 was checking things too. After running that stress test for ten minutes, Speccy showed my CPU going over 80 degrees, but AIDA64 never went above 44 degrees.
You're probably the only person with that fake temperature reading on Speccy, especially when you have a Ryzen chip. Use AMD's Ryzen Master app or just look at Hardware Info 64 instead of relying on Speccy.
You are probably correct. I believe 44 looks great when testing out. My cooling settings seem to be okay.
