I'm weighing my options between the two models. The Strix G15 offers a 5980HX and 6800M with 16 gigabytes of DDR4 3200, while the Zephyrus has a 6900HS and 6800S with 32 gigabytes of DDR5 4800, including 16 soldered modules. I’m not focused on price, but on weight and gaming performance—both have similar specs except for the screen size. I’m not suggesting I’m buying a laptop, just that these two fit within my budget. In my view, the G14 would be preferable due to the MUX switch, which could utilize RSR and potentially boost overall performance in 1440p high settings. Also, the Zephyrus has a superior display with higher brightness and better color accuracy.

I would choose a laptop equipped with DDR5 memory.

I would choose the Zephyrus G14 because I had a previous one. I say "had" since my earlier model had a problem that caused the GPU to fail after about six months, and I replaced it recently. I believe the MUX setup is designed to allow you to use the built-in display with the 6800, as most laptops with an integrated GPU and separate GPU only let the integrated GPU control the display. This also suggests adaptive syncing might function properly.
