Short version, there is no practical performance difference between them. The loading on the IMC will be the same assuming they're modern modules. If you go 2x16 you'll leave the door open to adding more ram in future should it be needed.

They will perform exactly as the product specifications state. Adding two 16 GB modules offers a more affordable option for future upgrades.

Both kits should work similarly because Ryzen CPUs only support two memory channels, so adding four sticks won’t boost bandwidth much (unless you upgrade later). With two 16GB sticks, you’ll still have flexibility for future upgrades. A 3200 CL16/14 or a 3600 CL16 should suffice, though a 3600 CL18 offers comparable latency to a 3200 CL16. Regarding currency, it seems you’re referring to USD.

Sure, the distinction in the video is minimal. I figured if they were priced equally, it might be worth trying. However, the chance of needing 64 GB is almost nonexistent. Thanks for your response!

It's a question of value—CL16 is around 1450 CL18 versus 1900 CL16 Swedish Crowns. Think about dropping the final few units to USD.
