Which Ryzen processor is better for you? The 3700X or the 3800X?
Hey guys, new here. I'm thinking of building a new gaming PC, kinda for the long-term. I want a Razer CPU, tho I can't decide on which one the 3700X or 3800X? Is it worth paying extra for the 3800X? Will either of them be picky about the RAM? Or should I just wait for the new gen Ryzen CPUs that I head comming? (Oh and right now I'm thinking of pairing it with a RTX 2070 Super and Asus X570-p) What would you suggest? Thanks.
Ensure you have the remaining components ready before assembling a new PC. Opt for the 3700X CPU unless the 3800X offers a much better price match. Memory should be compatible with both options. Choose a dual-channel 3600MHz CL16 setup, or at least CL18, to meet your needs.
