Certainly, if the B550 meets your requirements, you probably don’t have to switch to the X570 just because another B550 model offers similar performance. I understand your point about avoiding unnecessary upgrades, especially when a more affordable B550 board can deliver the same results. This isn’t my opinion—just mine. I wouldn’t recommend going for the big models like the 5900X or 5950X on a B450 platform.

This configuration isn't ideal for the 5800X's power consumption. Reducing voltage will help avoid overheating the VRM or needing extra fans. The main advantage is improved bandwidth on the chipset, which won't be utilized if you don't add many PCIe devices.

My issues disappeared with this motherboard even for the older generation. Probably the first Ryzen card was defective—BIOS didn’t save any settings and I couldn’t view the four RAM banks. Yes, I have the latest BIOS installed. @Latvian Video Then I plan to get the 5800X. Do you think it will work? Since I won’t be upgrading my PC again after this CPU upgrade.

Deliver power using high-core CPUs such as the 5900X and 5950X. Include additional I/O options for USB growth, since you noted earlier—more bandwidth between CPU and chipset can aid expansion cards. This approach targets a specialized segment of X570 users who will gain advantages.

The 5800X should work with your B450 Aorus Elite since you already have it, and I won’t be upgrading the CPU.

VRM components on the latest B550 boards perform exceptionally well. I’m confident the one in my Strix can handle a 5900X at full capacity, and even more. The duration remains uncertain! 😊

Sticking with stock won't suffice here. It addresses the Aorus Pro, which closely mirrors the Elite Keep. At stock price it draws power similarly to the 5800X, leading to a disappointing outcome. Sometimes it isn’t this way either—just because the chipset is capable doesn’t mean manufacturers include all of them. This only applies to the top-tier boards, which I believe are unnecessary when OP didn’t demand more. He’s content with a B450 Aorus Elite, which isn’t particularly impressive.

Refer to my earlier responses. I didn't mention asking him to purchase an X570 motherboard.

Even without OP, the X570 doesn't outperform the B550. It's unrealistic for a Ryzen 9 to need the X570 if you can afford it. In fact, if you depend heavily on expansion options, even a Ryzen 5 might benefit from a X570 board.
