I've noticed 3700X models around for building today. Eight cores provide flexibility for video and handling two games simultaneously.

Thanks for the response! I won’t start building until summer at least, since I aim to install an RTX 3070 and honestly, locally it’s expensive—like paying around 1300 for an Aorus Master I really need. It’s frustrating here.

For pure gaming, go with the 5600X. If you need alternatives, stick to what was mentioned. A 5000 Ryzen offers stronger single-core performance.
