You just received an RTX 2060 and chose one of three games: Battlefield V, Anthem, or Metro Exodus. Which do you think would be the best? I’ve heard Anthem isn’t great, and I’ve tried Destiny 2, Warframe, and Division—Division 2 is running smoothly on my new CPU, so I’m not keen on Anthem. Metro Exodus has good reviews, though I haven’t played a Metro game before, and Battlefield V offers real-time ray tracing, which would be interesting since I recently bought an RTX card and haven’t seen much in terms of FPS lately. What are your thoughts? Should I go with Metro Exodus even without prior experience, or is Battlefield V enough to consider?

Certainly a battlefield. And if you don’t enjoy the anthem, opt for the metro.

Battlefield V is excellent. The multiplayer sessions can last a long time. Metro is also impressive, though it's just for single players.
Metro will be available soon, but Battlefield V remains expensive, and the player base will shrink the longer you wait.

Probably Metro. Anthem is a mess, and BF5 is just BF5. Both are from EA, so that's about it.

Anthem takes around 45-50 hours for roughly 90% of the material. It's still missing the base until Act 1-2 and 3, which should add at least 30 hours each. You've already experienced the style, so let's move on. Battlefield 5 is about 6 hours. It looks visually impressive, the mechanics are solid but the content is limited. If multiplayer is your top priority, this might be the best choice. Metro Exodus is a newer title and appears well-made. If you prefer story mode, it could be a great pick. I prioritize content above everything else; otherwise, I'd choose in that sequence.

Battlefield V mainly depends on its multiplayer experience. If you're not interested in that, it's essentially a free tech showcase for you. And although I haven't played Exodus, the other two Metro titles were great, and since Exodus is a sequel, they probably will reference those two. Still, I don't think you needed the original game to grasp Last Light. Personally, I'd choose Metro Exodus.

Yeah ive played all the games people are saying anthem is like, and ill be playing division 2 aswell so if they're similar id prolly drop one.
And yeah i like multiplayer but i am more content-motivated, less than a day of solo gameplay would  be boring, and exodus sounds really good.
Yeah, i feel like after i beat the single player it would pretty much be a tech demo for me, i still have overwatch if i need some multiplayer fps. I think ill get alot more play time out of metro, even if i havent played the first two. Thanks guys,
i think ill grab metro then, no point in getting bf5 just to see real-time ray tracing first hand if theres a game ill enjoy more.

How are you obtaining the game for free? Could I also get it for free? It seems their free games with RTX have ended recently.

Thank you for your question, Mira. Could you please clarify what you mean by "bundle code"? Where exactly are you looking for it?
