I’d prefer a Samsung 970 NVME over the WD model. I’m comfortable with several WD Purple drives and they’re very quiet. Perhaps a Dark Rock 3 would work too. You could use it for upcoming projects. I once had an old CPU cooler that lasted six years before I sold it.
Keep using the Crucial kit with DDR4-3600 CL16 specifications. The Corsair options have more relaxed timings, which could affect performance. 3600 clocks are ideal for Ryzen processors. My original Noctua NH-D15 from 2016 still works perfectly, just as it did then. I’ll admit though, the cooler isn’t the best fit for these Ryzen chips—they can run hot and this cooler doesn’t handle it well. Would a Noctua NH-U12A be a better choice?
I notice you're building a budget PC. You might consider a 3200mhz CL16 with some adjustments in voltage to achieve around 3600mhz. For instance, I've used the 110 bucks Patriot Viper Samsung B Die 4400mhz CL19 kit successfully. It's a bit of risk, but I managed to run it at 3600mhz with 16 16 16 16 40 settings without any problems. The previous kit I owned was a 4000mhz CL19 and it worked at 3600Mhz CL13 14 14 14 34 using 1.5v. You could start with the 860 SSD and then lower it to 3200mhz CL16.
