which ram to choose
which ram to choose
I'm checking out RAM options for my new setup and I'm confused about the differences between the 3600 C16 and 4000 C18 CPs. Do I need to know which one is best?
Both options are fairly similar. Your choice should mainly depend on your budget and what you prefer. Intel's CPU performance isn't heavily influenced by RAM speed compared to AMD, so you likely won't see a noticeable difference.
Choose parts that fit your specific needs. For a 64GB limit, opt for the 16GB modules. If you anticipate larger demands, go with 32GB or higher. Intel performance differences are minimal. Keep in mind, boosting speed and capacity increases stress on the IMC, which may affect stability. For optimal compatibility, consider 3200Mhz CL14 or CL16 modules to avoid issues (and extra cost).
