Which ram is better

I’m considering a new Asus laptop. Reviews are excellent, but upgrading the RAM is advised. Jarrods Tech recommended using high-end RAM, though I can only source from local shops like G.Skill and Kingston. Which option would you prefer: single 8GB or two? Here are some links for reference:

Avoid running any sticks. Suggest 2x16 at 3200 MT/s. Faster lower timings are preferable.

It depends on your needs. All the companies you mentioned are strong for desktops, but for laptops the choice might vary. You should check what features matter most to you.

They’re not crucial. Both G. Skill and Kingston are excellent brands. Some choose Kingston for making the chips themselves, but I tend to go with G Skill. Nowadays, DDR4 is well known and faulty parts are uncommon.
