Which processor should we select?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to upgrade my old PC from about 4 years ago. It's not up to the task now, especially since I work as a web developer and marketer and need it for coding, marketing, plus some new games like Call of Duty. I'm torn between the AMD Ryzen 5.3600 and the X or the Ryzen 7 3700X. Any advice would be great! Thanks.
I’d definitely consider going 8/16 today, considering your past upgrade plan. The 3700x really shines across multiple aspects. We usually hear complaints about lacking enough CPU, but we rarely see people complaining they have too much. Of course, I’m not pushing you to jump to a 3900x just yet—though it wouldn’t be a bad move either.
This setup looks well-rounded. The CPU and cooler combination offers solid performance for everyday tasks. The motherboard and RAM provide a strong foundation, while the GPU and video card are great for gaming needs. The storage and power supply also seem suitable for the overall build.
