I'm preparing to construct my initial gaming PC and plan future overclocking. I've collected most of the components and now need to decide on a power supply, but I'm unsure about the required wattage and which model would be optimal. The estimate from pcpartpicker.com suggests 465W. For medium overclocking, how many watts would be suitable? Would an 850W unit suffice or should I opt for 1000W? Additionally, is the Corsair RM1000x 850W EVGA SuperNOVA a good option, or are there more affordable alternatives available?
650 W supernova g2 or seasonal focus point provides excellent quality.

If you're building a new system and have the budget, going for it would be ideal. Your Z270 motherboard won't support an 8th gen CPU. The cost of Z270/7700K is nearly the same as Z370/8700K.
Even with overclocking, a 650W to 750W power supply should suffice.
