For the i5 configuration, the CPU is expected to be significantly faster than the AMD version when utilizing up to four cores during gaming, and this performance advantage should extend its lifespan by several years before replacement becomes necessary. On the other hand, the AMD setup offers a superior GPU, which means it will require more time to upgrade the graphics card. Personally, the main distinction lies in the ease of a GPU upgrade compared to the complexity and cost of purchasing a new computer. Additionally, the i5 model requires only 1600mhz memory, whereas the AMD model has much higher memory latency than Intel, making it suitable for the 1866mhz memory option.

I might seem like a big fan of AMD, but honestly, they're lagging behind Intel by a lot.
I own three old AMD machines that have been useful, but for a new PC, the main decision is picking the right Intel i5.

Selecting between the FX6300 and FX8320 is quite straightforward. Since games currently don't require more than four cores, extra processing power isn't beneficial at the moment. The only scenario where you'd consider the "second PC" (8320) is for tasks like media editing or streaming. Therefore, it's best to opt for the first PC. An FX6300 offers a solid AMD CPU—though Intel typically produces better ones, I won't go into that detail here.
