I was thinking about which heat sink performs well for cooling. I have Cryorig C7 and the Hyper 212 EVO as choices. I aim for a better alternative to the stock one for overclocking. I need to reach 4.5 Ghz with my AMD FX 6300.

The Cryorig, definitely.
The 212 EVO was decent....
Five years back.
Nowadays, there are superior alternatives.

Based on everything I've observed on YouTube and review sites, H7 appears to perform better. I decided to purchase it after doing my research and lowered my idle temperature from 33 to 22 degrees Celsius. It doesn't exceed 52 at load, unlike the standard Intel model I owned which was reaching up to 90. It's quite quiet too!

From all the information I've gathered on YouTube and websites, it looks like H7 comes out on top. After doing some research and testing, I decided to purchase one myself. It managed to lower my idle temperature from 33 to 22 degrees Celsius, staying under 52 at load while the regular Intel model was hitting up to 90. That's pretty quiet! Thanks for the advice, and I'll give the cryorig H7 a try.

In terms of price and performance, Evo comes out stronger. It's quieter and runs cooler by about 5 degrees. Cryorig might be better for overclocking.
