Which one is better for a slight overclock, the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 or the Gemin II M4?
Hi
I'm struggling to decide between the Cooler Master Hyper TX 3 and the Cooler Master Gemin II M4 for overclocking my new rig (6600k + ASUS Z170A). Both are priced the same locally. The TX3 has fewer pipes (3) compared to the 4-pipe version of the M4, while it appears larger. Please advise which is better.
Thanks
Why these models above the 212 evo? The 212 evo offers superior performance compared to the tx3, likely because of its design advantages. You won't find dual fans on the geminII, and you also get a much smaller heat-dissipation area, allowing the same fan to move air more efficiently. In short, it provides less cooling. I think you'd be better off choosing a 212 evo and upgrading it with higher-quality 120mm fans.
The TX3 offers superior cooling. The Gemeni provides a compact design suitable for limited spaces. Nevertheless, the TX3 only slightly surpasses the standard Intel cooler. Are there any alternative options available?
