Which one 3600 | 3600X | 3600XT? Perf/Temps
I reside in an unusual location and at the nearby market, CPUs are sold at nearly identical prices. It might seem obvious for a 3600XT, but I'm on a tight budget and thinking about keeping my old Deepcool 200t cooler (just two large heat pipes and a basic fan). I believe it performs slightly better than the stock unit. The 3600XT could be around 4-5 degrees hotter in tests. That makes me wonder—should I be concerned about overheating?
At the same cost, the 3600XT offers the best gaming experience. It provides nearly identical performance, and the slight extra speed is a nice bonus. The temperatures remain manageable, so you won’t face cooling issues like with the 3600.
I reviewed additional benchmarks and found only a minor variation. Also, I won't go overclocking.
a few hundred mhz doesn't affect average users much, it depends on price differences
The cost might be too high, could you share the price? Any aftermarket cooler from this brand will work well at that temperature, and it won’t put extra pressure on the CPU.
