This generation, i7 is currently beating i9 based on the gaming scores I'm checking. However, as time passes, might developers begin to improve their optimization? Could i9 be more secure for the future?

The i7-9700k is almost the same as the i9-9900k, though it rarely exceeds it. The i9 seems better for the future, but if you prefer AMD, go with that.

I'm unsure about the benchmarks you're referring to, but I'm sure the i9 model definitely beats the i7 in consumer sockets. The 10980XE tends to perform worse for gaming, though the 9900K and especially the 9900KS are top-tier CPUs for that purpose. i9 outperforms i7 in all aspects. Yet, why not Ryzen? It offers the best of both worlds.

You're looking at which titles will work well on modern Ryzen processors. Make sure you pair them with quick RAM, as higher clock speeds in DDR4 memory boost performance.

You haven't come across anything like this before, and it doesn't seem probable. (In reality, earlier titles could have been developed when AMD dominated the market and most processors were from AMD)

Late 90s to early 00s, games that depend on a single main component performed poorly. Occasional issues like visual problems in Mass Effect 1 (2007). A few titles simply won’t launch. With just 3000 MHz of RAM, it was a challenge.

The 4th generation Ryzen processors should perform well in single-core tasks and may even surpass their Intel rivals. Your system includes a dedicated GPU, compatible motherboard, multiple RAM modules, a robust power supply unit.
