A genuine CD offers superior sound quality compared to streaming music online. Listening to tracks on a physical CD provides a much better listening experience than digital formats.

Usually, it won't be noticeable. Many individuals lack the equipment or hearing ability to detect the distinction. Foobar2000 is the top choice.

This site looks interesting but hasn't been tried yet. It might be useful, though. I use VLC and it has iTunes installed, which sometimes causes issues with certain files.
