You're considering an R5 5600X with a budget around $190. Between the Asus B550-F and Aorus Pro, the Aorus Pro offers more features and better value for performance and convenience. The Pro V2 and Pro AC are solid options but slightly pricier, while the Pro AX is more budget-friendly but with fewer advanced features. Other good choices include the ASUS ROG Strix Z690 or MSI MEG for extra gaming power.

As for the differences between Aorus Pro, Pro V2, Pro AC, and Pro AX:
- **Aorus Pro**: Balanced performance, good value, supports PCIe 4.0, solid for gaming and multitasking.
- **Pro V2**: Higher-end features, better cooling, supports DDR5, ideal for heavy workloads.
- **Pro AC**: Budget-friendly, decent performance, suitable for everyday use.
- **Pro AX**: Entry-level option, basic features, mainly for casual gaming and light tasks.

I haven’t encountered the term “best” much before. The B550 should handle a 5600 without trouble, so that’s not a problem. What bothers me is the quality of the AMD build.

Yes, both boards remain solid options.

Choose the USB-C front connector with either Pro AX or Pro V2. The main distinction is that AX includes built-in Wi-Fi, while V2 does not (unless USB-C is important to you). In any case, they are essentially similar.

The gigabyte size works just fine. If you aim to reduce expenses without issues, the B550 Tomahawk is more affordable (on sale).

I prefer not to have an x570 because it doesn’t suit my needs.

Because they're much more expensive, and I don't have any need for the features they provide? I don't need 8 SATA ports, I don't need PCIe gen 4, what kind of question is this?

I had a really negative experience with MSI's return process and support team. It was extremely frustrating, and I wouldn't want to face another broken product or have to contact them again.
