Hey there! I bought the B550 Carbon for $220. I considered alternatives like the X570 Tuf Plus ($235) and Asus X570 Prime ($210), but I stayed with the B550 because it fit my budget. I think the X570 Prime isn’t doing well, though. Should I go back on the order?

Since the base price was 180, I bought the Carbon locally in Turkey and noticed the prices are very low. I attempted to take advantage of the discount, though I’m still unsure if it was worth it compared to the X570 Tuf Plus option at 235 USD, which is just 15 dollars more.

Since you don’t need Wi-Fi but still want solid features, the Carbon seems to offer better VRM performance, though reviews for both are limited. My preference leans toward the Asus model because it matches your GPU brand and supports RGB synchronization, even if I’m not sure which one is superior overall. What do you think?
What components are you using? Which currency are we discussing? Are there restrictions on just these two aspects? The B550 Strix F runs on 12 SiC6395 and the Gaming Pro Carbon uses 12 TDA21462 with IR3592 (or 98's, I forgot), both solid in voltage regulation. Regarding VRM, the gaming edge Wi-Fi is technically superior. However, the B550 Strix F had better VRM temperatures as well.
The Carbon dropped from 250 USD to 220 USD, so I went ahead and bought it. I’m in Turkey but I can still cancel the order if needed. The Gaming Edge remains at 220 USD, as does the B550-F, which is also 220 USD. There’s a Tomahawk for 215 USD that powers a Ryzen 5 3600, though upgrading to the 4000 series seems unlikely since the 3600 works well with a 2080 Super at 1440P resolution. The Tuf X570 Plus is an alternative but costs 230 USD.
You might also look at the b550 Aorus Pro, the b550 A Pro, or the b550 Strix F. However, the b550 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi performs very well and easily meets the requirements of a 3600.
Aorus Pro costs 230$, so it’s not worth it. The B550-A Pro looks simple in design. The B550-F is also quite basic with almost no RGB, but still a good choice. I’m not sure about the gaming benefits though—it’s a decent pick. Still, it makes sense that carbon VRMs might run hotter since they’re more numerous and higher quality. (I don’t know much about VRMs, but I didn’t say anything wrong)
The b550 board from MSI is known for running hot, but for a 3600W setup it handles the heat well.
