I’ll pick the B450 because it offers the best price, and the B550 seems to be the final model for AM4 sockets. Since both can run the latest Ryzen chips, they’re pretty future-proof.

Choose a price range and select a feature set, then proceed. Buildzoid offers excellent Mobo breakdown videos; watch the longer ones and jump to boards that catch your eye. The motherboard tier list also helps gauge quality. Tomahawk boards are considered a solid value with decent VRMs. *Edit* Regarding chipsets, everything works fine—PCIe Gen 4 on x570 is usually sufficient. Extra chipset lanes aren’t critical unless you need more. Focus mainly on reliable VRM performance. Are you primarily for gaming?
