I haven't tried the Redux iterations, but the original titles are solid. It's enjoyable to experience a narrative-driven FPS that handles its combat well, particularly since both Metro games focus on corridor shooting. Well-executed level design shines, especially in the second title. Honestly, I'd support 4A taking over and handling Half-Life 3.
