Dear members,

Please assist me in selecting a gaming laptop to purchase. I am primarily looking for one suitable for gaming and 3D applications such as Blender. You have already narrowed down the options. Feel free to recommend an alternative from your point of view.

1. MSI GP76 Leopard 11UG-609IN
(https://dl.flipkart.com/s/s9_OpzuuuN)
2. MSI GS66 Stealth 11UG-418IN
(https://dl.flipkart.com/s/s9nVx5uuuN)
3. MSI GE66 Raider 11UG-417IN
(https://dl.flipkart.com/s/bWNUsSNNNN)

All these models share similar specifications except for refresh rate and some variations. I am seeking a device that excels in gaming and 3D tasks while offering good value for the price. They all fall within a comparable price range, making the decision challenging. I would appreciate your insights and suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Hey there,
Well the GP76 is a 1080p panel. The other two are 1440p. So if a better res screen suits your needs, then the 1440p might be the way to go (crisper, clearer picture)
There's also a difference in port types. So if connectivity is important then that's something else to look at.
The GP76 also doesn't specify which speed the ram runs at. The other two have 3200mhz listed for ram speed. I would assume given they are the same processor that the GP76 is running 3200mhz too.
In terms of performance, given all use an 11800h/RTX30370 combo, performance for the most part will be the same.

Thank you for your question. I wanted to clarify whether 1080p gaming appears poor on the laptop. The typical TGP for these models is around 140 watts, with a RAM speed that remains consistent across all three. The TGP for the GP is 140w, for the GE it's also 140w, and for the GS it's 95w. The RAM speed stays the same in each case.

In that situation, I would choose the GE66. It features a higher TGP GPU, resulting in better base and boost clocks for the 95w models. Additionally, the 66 includes a larger 1440p panel.

I also thought the same about the GE66, but in my country the price gap between GP76 and GE66 is around Rs 30990. Does it still seem reasonable from a price-performance point of view? I mean, is it acceptable to pay more for a 1440p panel?

Oh, my mistake. I believed they were all similar in price. If the variation is 30990 rupees (about €360), then I wouldn't pay just for the 1440p panel.
