Which option performs better? DDR4 3000MHz 18CL versus 2666MHz 16CL CPU paired with a Ryzen 3 1200. Should I upgrade to 3200MHz 16CL instead? Does increasing RAM speed really count, and can it boost performance?

Comparing prices to 3200MHz 16CL chips reveals minimal impact on value. The savings are negligible unless specific needs justify the higher cost.

I understand that. I don’t need to go into the specifics of why one might be preferable over another.

Sure thing, just thought about it. I guess whatever I get will be quicker than my old RAM and definitely bigger, so... straightforward, budget-friendly, and effective. Thanks for sharing all that info—I realized how much more powerful things can get if you know what to look for.
