Many videos and charts suggest the RTX 5070 and RX 9070 offer similar performance. With an RX 6700 XT, you might see a 30-40% boost in FPS at 1440P. Should you worry about AI-generated FPS numbers? FSR from AMD isn't great, so it's mostly a matter of personal preference now.

What titles should I use to tax the proposed GPU purchase? I’d choose either one, but most importantly, the GPU that is cheaper and optimized for the titles I want to play.

The 9070 offers greater VRAM capacity and should perform better at 1440p in the future if you're willing to spend a bit more. Recently, AMD's drivers have improved significantly while Nvidia's have been problematic. Regarding FSR versus DLSS, the newest versions look nearly the same for upscaling quality, but it's best to steer clear of the artificial frames in both cases—opting for a lower setting or two rather than letting artifacts and tearing fill the screen.

FSR isn't always bad, it just doesn't match DLSS in every case. Still, FSR 4 represents a solid improvement over the earlier versions. Compared to the previous models, the RX 9070 offers better performance and more VRAM without a significant price increase.

I purchased the RTX 5070 TI... I understand the RX 9070 XT offers roughly a 5% boost in rasterized FPS with the newest drivers, but I simply disliked working with AMD's software.
