Are there any alternatives? I don’t need a 4K screen, that’s fine.

It’s likely the game will be damaged by Ark: Survival Evolved since it wasn’t optimized before. However, at 1080p resolution, most medium to high settings should work fine.

It won't fail in any game. It supports all available titles at 1080p resolution, just adjust the settings as needed. Follow the GeForce suggestions for optimal performance.

It depends on the context, but generally it refers to a specific location within a game or setting. You can check the game's map or instructions for details.

I could recommend a few Glide-only titles just to dampen your excitement (Glide is the API used by Voodoo cards). http://www.3dgw.com/game/gog.php3 Some games support OpenGlide or similar emulators, though others won’t run at all. I recall when I first played Half-Life, I was frustrated not being able to play Turok—because it needed Glide—and I think a remake might be on the way.

I observed it and it appears fine; should handle most games (except Crysis)
