Many software updates can cause issues, making things fail or become unusable. I recommend performing a clean installation to fix the problems.

You have the newest drivers installed. The crash simply brings you back to the home screen, displaying any messages. It doesn’t cause a full system crash.

The issue I’m facing involves the processor not functioning properly and the driver not working correctly. I have a 500-watt power supply that matches the specifications listed for my computer.

The lower quality of Corsair CX units seems unlikely to be the main cause—possibly the updated driver is the issue. Review the 15.7.1 problem list.

Identified problems - check for yours. If absent, it could not be the driver's responsibility.
