I've played both Fallout 3 and really enjoyed it from start to finish. The main story was great, and the five DLC expansions fit well together. I spent around 130 hours on New Vegas, which felt solid—about 85 more hours left, but I think Fallout 3 was a stronger experience. I believe Bethesda should continue making Fallout games, maybe even Fallout 4?

It offers a more immersive experience with some Mad Max-inspired settings. If you prioritize narrative depth and staying true to the lore, go for Fallout NV. Adding features like weapon customization or hardcore mode enhances the gameplay. Overall, I recommend completing the series or starting with Fallout 3 followed by FNV. That’s why I chose Fallout 3.
