Which drivers should I install?
I recently purchased my first PC a few days ago. It has a Ryzen 5 2400G processor, no external graphics card, and runs on an Asrock A320M-HDV R4.0 motherboard. The store staff assembled it, installed Windows, drivers, and many extra applications. I wanted a clean install, so I reset the PC and downloaded the official drivers from Asrock's website. Do I need to add any additional drivers for the CPU or GPU? I also want my software up to date. Please assist me.
You can obtain drivers for your CPU from the official AMD website https://www.amd.com/en/support
You just got a fresh setup. Avoid reinstalling the software unless necessary. Keep apps that don’t add value, but don’t hinder performance. Your computer is modern—capable of running many programs. More options usually mean better results. This is especially true for beginners; stick to useful tools and leave behind anything slowing you down.
Check the Ryzen 5 driver page for GPU and CPU support. It’s likely simpler to restart Windows via Settings → Update & Security → Recovery → 'Get Started' under 'Reset this PC'. Decide whether you want to retain files or perform a full clean. Clearing the drive is faster but only recommended if someone else will use the machine.
