I’m leaning toward the PC for its portability and flexibility. The laptop is great, but the price and specs make the PC a better value for me. It’s worth sticking with the desktop if you need more power or long-term use.

The PC malfunctions on the laptop in numerous ways, except for movement. If movement is possible, consider using a mini-ITX setup and bring it to LAN events.

For mobility needs, I’d choose a model with a GTX 970 or 980.

Would you like to use a mobile device or stay with a laptop? Decide first, then choose accordingly. The computer offers more performance than a laptop, but clarify your needs before proceeding.

It's possible to enhance your laptop's performance by upgrading its graphics card if it supports it.

Typically, upgrades aren't available. The main components that can be improved are RAM and storage. A laptop with 970m or 980m should work in the future.

This would make more sense as a laptop choice rather than a PC. Constructing a PC will offer superior performance in many areas beyond portability, as mentioned earlier.

Consider a laptop only when it truly offers the mobility you need for school, work, or similar activities. For use at LAN events, opt for a compact PC like an ITX built into a Corsair 380T, Bitfenix Prodigy, or similar.
