Which CPU performs better between the I7-2700K and I7-2600K? You're open to a slight increase, up to about 0.6Ghz if needed, but you prefer not to overclock.

2700K is slightly improved, though it offers little benefit. I’d choose the more affordable option.

The i7 2700k is preferable. Price matters here. If you're worried about overclocking, consider getting the i7 2600 instead to save some money.
