You're considering two options: the Ryzen 7600X or the Intel 13600K. Both are solid choices, but they suit different needs. The Ryzen 7600X offers strong performance for gaming and light video editing, while the Intel 13600K provides higher clock speeds ideal for demanding tasks. With your setup—16GB dual-channel DDR5 RAM and a 6700 XT—both CPUs should perform well. Choose based on whether you prioritize raw power or sustained high-frequency performance.

13600k is likely a better choice at the moment. Going with 7600 offers additional upgrade paths later on if you decide that route. If you prefer staying on the same platform without frequent CPU changes, opt for the 13600k.

For video editing and upcoming gaming, opting for 32GB of DDR5 is advisable over 16GB. Video editing often demands significant memory, and games such as Hogwarts Legacy already perform well with more than 16GB. Regarding the CPU, I concur with @Shimejii.
