The 1600 af is generally safer and cheaper, while the 3300x tends to be faster now. When both CPUs are used together, the 3300x still runs even better.
Ryzen lacks significant margin to ignore issues. It doesn’t gain much advantage from avoiding them. Speed isn’t the sole factor in determining a CPU’s quality.
