How much money can you allocate?
Are you aiming to address a specific issue of dissatisfaction, or is the desire for an upgrade stronger?
Is gaming your main focus?

Checking the resolution? It's still a solid mid-range setup. Are you looking for better graphics performance or higher frame rates? A clear upgrade to a Ryzen 5700X3D or 5800X3D would be ideal for gaming. Consider installing 2x16GB of DDR4 3600 memory to boost performance. Your power supply is adequate for mid-range components, so the decision mainly depends on your budget. Options include the RX 7700XT, 4070 Super, RX7800XT, RX7900 GRE, and 4070Ti Super.

I own an Acer Predator X34P 34 inch Ultrawide with a 3440x1440 resolution, and I'm looking for higher frame rates and improved graphics performance.

Okay, back to spend. There isn't really a bad GPU choice for 1440p ultrawide. As much as you can afford.
RM750X is a decent PSU, I would feel comfortable with a 4070Ti Super, 7900 GRE (Maybe the 7900XT) and anything below.
It is Computex right now, but doesn't look like there are going to be any GPU announcements, but we should see new GPUs from Nvidia, AMD, and Intel in the next few months. They will be the somewhat higher end cards, but it may have a big impact on GPU pricing of the current hardware that is available.
CPU upgrade suggestion is still there as well. That can help with high FPS output when running lower/competitive settings, but given your monitor choice I suspect that isn't a priority.

I concur with Eximo. Adding CPU and RAM would be the optimal upgrade.

The idea of upgrading isn't exactly what I was expressing. While a CPU upgrade would help, at 3440x1440 it would be more effective to focus on the graphics card. The decision really depends on the budget.
