Hello everyone, here’s a summary of my current setup and what happened:

My main hardware includes a Ryzen 7 5700X processor paired with a Noctua NH-U12S cooler. I’m using an Asus Tuf B550 Gaming Plus RAM module, which is a 16GB kit at 3200MHz (XMP not enabled). The GPU runs at 2133MHz and is powered by a Zotac 1660Ti PSU. Storage consists of two NVMe SSDs for the operating system and games, plus one SATA SSD and one HDD in a dedicated case.

The monitor is an LG 27GL850B with QHD resolution at 144Hz, and I have a Corsair TX650M power supply. I’ve been trying to keep things stable, but there’s been a recurring issue: the PC would shut down while streaming Netflix, and after several restarts it would fail to start completely. Each time I tried to power it on, I heard a clicking sound from the PSU and the system would freeze, not booting at all.

I’ve checked my previous motherboard (MSI B450M) three months ago—it failed, so I upgraded everything to what I see now. Despite that, the problem keeps happening. I’ve tried removing parts, checking connections, and even had the GPU inspected, but nothing seems to fix it.

I’m wondering if something like the motherboard from three months ago, the PSU from three years back, or another component might be causing this. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
